DOG Sections

Sections represent the various subspecialties of ophthalmology. Their thematic focus is oriented towards clinical practice, the anatomy of the eye and important disease patterns. Sections address a wide range of members and unite members of established subspecialties under a common umbrella within the scientific society (if there is no associated society).

Sections are therefore aimed at a wide range of personnel who feel a connection to the subspecialty in question in terms of their training, clinical focus or scientific research interests.

The Sections have their own budget, which they dispose of in consultation with the Executive Committee.
All members of the DOG are entitled to participate in the Sections.
