oregis is a digital registry project of the German Society of Ophthalmology (DOG) that significantly expands and improves the possibilities for comprehensive ophthalmic health services research.
We collect anonymised case data from medical offices and clinics of opthalmology in a central database. This data can be used to conduct in-depth analyses and scientific studies to understand the prevalence of diseases, the effectiveness of therapies, healthcare structures and many other important issues.
With a growing database in oregis, the results of these research efforts become increasingly valid. Our goal is to connect as many eye care centres as possible to oregis.
