DOG 2024 was a success!

3,183 participants and a total of 5,001 visitors came to the Estrel in Berlin from 10 to 13 October – more than ever before. The result: three keynote lectures, ten DOG Updates, four International Expert Talks, 59 symposia, 50 courses and workshops, 26 free lecture sessions, 35 poster sessions and 75 working sessions.

Awards and Promotions

The promotion of ophthalmological research is an outstanding goal of the DOG. To this end, it promotes research projects and awards prizes for outstanding achievements in ophthalmology. The awards are presented during the DOG congresses in a separate award ceremony.

About the DOG: Albrecht Graefe and how it all started

Founded 1857 in Heidelberg by Albrecht von Graefe, the DOG is the most ancient ophthalmological scientific associations in the world and one of the important scientific medical association in Germany.
